green teaselsI love it when I get to use up scraps.  Last time I was using my brayer with my acrylic paints (I think when I made the heart panels) – I rolled the brayer onto some card to clean it and then once dry I put it into my card box.

Annette – our demonstrator on Saturday – was kind enough to let me stamp some of her stamps – so when I spotted this card in the box I thought it would be perfect to go with the teasels.

My inkpad was a little dry so I spent some time making some of the lines darker with a fineliner and then added some white gel highlights.

I didn’t want to do too much to this project as I really liked the randomness of the olive green paint in the background, so I thought a few details applied with Black Soot distress ink through a script mask and then just applied a frame with the same ink around the outside.

green teaselsI really like this piece – so simple to create and the colour is stunning and I’m amazed the difference that the white highlights make too.

This is the Teasels stamp from Woodware – one of quite a few new Woodware stamps we’ve just uploaded to the website (and more yet to be put up!).  Click here to have a look at all the new stamps loaded up so far
