A trip through the archives this evening. My crafting plans for today went a little awry, so I’ve found an old favourite to share with you. I used to make quite a few variations for this card design when I sold my cards in a few places – it was always a fun one to create and very popular too.
I started with using a texture card blank and spritzing it with Cosmic Shimmer Ink Misters. The mica would catch in all the indentations of the card texture.
I would give my cardstock topper a light spray of the same colour mister – just to take away the whiteness and tie it in with the card blank. I would next stamp a mix of flowers and foliage from the Wild Meadow stamps (chocolate baroque) in different shades of browns and greens. Then go in with your Sakura pens – Souffle, sparkle, Moonlight, Glaze etc and add highlights and definition to the stalks and flowers
A simple ribbon to finish and you have a card fit for many occasions!
