July9So not true for me this evening!  After being immersed in paperwork all day I realised it was 6.30…  my Zumba class was at 7, and I hadn’t created today’s blog project.  If I left it until I came home I wouldn’t have the energy (or the light to photograph it!).  So…  10 minute creation here I come!

I had a rummage on my desk (good job it’s untidy lol)…  and I found a piece of dictionary paper I had previously sprayed blues and greens.  OK.. that was my inspiration – another rummage and I found a world map stamp, the skinny lady stamp (that’ll be me after all the zumba hahaha) and the unhurried sense of time stamp.

I had the pack of Stix2 tags on my desk, so I grabbed a mowed lawn and salty ocean distress ink and spread some colour over the right hand side of the tag, spritzed with water and quickly blasted it with the heat gun to dry.

Next I stuck a strip of the dictionary paper to my tag

I inked up my lady stamp with Black Archival ink and stamped her over the dictionary words.  I then used my white gel pen to mute out the words in her face and legs so she was clearer to see.

July9aNext I stamped the world map with the Mowed lawn distress ink to give a bit more interest to the background.

Then I stamped my ‘time’ words in black in and then used the ink to run around the edge of the tag to give it a border.

A final couple of touches – I drew a dashed border with my black fineliner and added some garden twine as the string (another thing lurking on my desk!)

Not bad for a 10 minute make!

July9bNow off for a soak in a hot bath to ease my very unfit zumba aching muscles!

happy crafting
