I am continuing with my creations with the Woodware Clear Bubble Bloom Clarissa Stamp. Today’s creation you may have seen a sneaky glimpse of the background earlier this week if you are a friend on Facebook!.
I started with glossy cardstock and swirled on Alcohol inks – Purple Twilight – Orange and Red Pepper. It then spritzed with Stazon Spray cleaner (that’s what gives the mottled effect). If you would like to see this technique in action – you may want to watch my YouTube Video.
I stamped my flower stamp using black archival ink and added the celebrate in style wording too.
Next I used my Zig glue and Quickie gluepens to colour in the bubbles and the leaves and applied black glitter. I worked gradually over so all the little gaps were covered. As a final touch, I traced over the swirls and the stem with quickie glue and glittered those too!
I like this combination – a nice black dramatic image that also allows you to appreciate the beauty of the background too.
Back tomorrow with another design with the same stamp!
