I’m back again with this fab stamp – getting bored of it yet? I hope not – I know I’m not! 🙂
Today’s creation ended up being quite festive. I started by stamping my Woodware clear Bubble Bloom Clarissa stamp and heat embossing it in black.
I started my colour theme with my Card Candi. I only had silver and red to hand – so that started my colour scheme! I gathered together a mixture of Sakura pens – I ended up with a mix of Stardust (the glittery ones) in Silver, Red and I think Ruby or burgundy (sorry forgot to look!) and also a Moonlight red (the very red red colour you can see – ideal for Xmas berries).
I stuck down my card candi with 3D foam squares to give it a little dimension and then started to colour in the bubbles with my mix of pens, trying to mix it up as much as possible. I left a few bubbles free for my Stickles in Silver (do this last so you don’t smudge it).
I used dark jade and green Sakura Stardust pens on the leaves.
I then mounted up my card onto a black mount and onto my card blank and then went in to fill in the silver stickles as the last stage so i could set aside to dry.
There is now a pack of Card Candi specifically put together with this stamp design in mind – you can view it here – it’s lovely purples and pinks and would be very pretty!
Basically you can create this design in whatever colour scheme you like – and whether you go for pastels or brights, monotone or mixed, you will find it will give a different effect on the finished card.
back again tomorrow with yet another design – and if you have an idea you would like me to try with this stamp – just let me know!
