I love working in white on white and its been ages since I’ve created a piece. So this week I decided to sit down and rustle up a three dimensional project.
I started by cutting an oval with my nestabilities from Spellbinder and running it through a polka dot embossing folder.
Next I cut out a whole mix of different die cuts – leaves, flowers, birds as well as the components from a Marianne Designs die to make the three dimensional flowers.
I sat and played around with all the shapes until I was happy with my composition. I then stuck them down and added just a little silver stickles to highlight. The bird and the branches are all Memory Box Dies.
Next was to make the flowers and once created, I added PVA glue and dipped them into some silver toned bedazzled to add extra zing!
The only thing I didn’t allow for what how difficult it was to photograph. this was originally marked to publish at the beginning of the week, but when I went to do the blog, the pictures were just so difficult to see the images – so I waited to take some fresh pictures – and even now they don’t do it justice!
I do recommend having a play with white on white layers – always elegant and fun – and a lovely idea for Christmas cards!
