And Finally – project number 6 – yep sneaked another one in! This project features the Tea Tree by Crafty Individuals. I started with matt cardstock and spritzed with water and then dipped it into the excess Cosmic Shimmer Ink Misters ink that had collected on my mat from spraying other pieces. Welcome to the first of my challenge creations. If you read yesterday’s post, I challenged myself to creating 5 blog projects in 2 hours! This background was created using the matt white cardstock, which is spritzed first with water and then was swiped on my craft mat picking up the sprayings from the Cosmic Shimmer Misters – Scarlet Mist and Mango Blaze after spraying another piece of cardstock. Today’s creation has a vintage feel. This is one of the new stamps in stock from Crafty Individuals and the fabulous guys at Crafty Individuals were generous enough to send me this stamp to create some samples with – lucky me! 🙂

Not an easy one to photograph today with all that mica! I’ve started with one of my background stashes. Whenever I get inks out to do backgrounds I tend to make a few extras so that on a day like to day where I don’t have time to get all the messy stuff out, I have a fab background ready to use. Back with a natural colour theme today and some florals and dragonflies to complement the theme.
I started with glossy card and inked over randomly the dragonfly with Versamark. I then added a few touches of the crackle stamp in versamark too – just wrapped around my fingertip so I just touched a little pattern here and there in between the dragonflies. (more…)
As promised yesterday – a firey red piece today. I’ve used the same supplies again – glossy card, Crafty Individuals stamps, Memento and Archival inks.
