This project is another sample for the colour stamping workshop.
This time I am working onto glossy cardstock. I have inked up the IndigoBlu Poppy Meadow stamp using Memento inks – adding the colour using the points of the inkpads into the different areas of the stamp.
I have stamped the flower border on my cardblank using the same ink – Rhubarb Stalk.
then just a simple green in the same shades of green to finish it off.
Simple – but effective – and ideal for this time of year too.
Today’s project is created using the IndigoBlu Alice I stamps.
I have started with a piece of glossy cardstock. I have applied colour using a mix of green and blue with a touch of orange Memento Inkpads. (more…)
Still playing with my Memento Inks. This has been created by putting down stripes of colour with pink and purple shades onto glossy cardstock.
This amazing peacock design is from the Chocolate Baroque Tangled Peacock set – so beautifully detailed! The feather edge is also created with the feather stamp from the same set. (more…)
A different colour tone today. This is another of the pieces I started creating in the shop on Saturday. I started by applying orange, yellow and red toned Memento Inks to glossy cardstock.
Next I stamped my three stamps in Archival Black – all from the IndigoBlu Boadicea stamp set. (more…)
I have had such a lovely day today. It started with a 1-2-1 workshop with a lovely lady looking to start crafting with inks and stamps and not knowing what products to start with. (more…)
A short post today as I was so waffly yesterday!
I have used Crafty Individuals stamps on today’s creation. The background has been created using Memento inks onto a glossy cardstock. (more…)
It’s another Chocolate Baroque design again today. You’ve probably gathered that I tend to create pieces in batches. I often get asked how I find time to create all these projects. Well part of my working week is scheduling a few hours of creativity. At first it felt very luxurious and I felt very guilty – especially when you have an online shop to manage that always has lots of hours work needed on it! (more…)
Back with a natural colour theme today and some florals and dragonflies to complement the theme.
I started with glossy card and inked over randomly the dragonfly with Versamark. I then added a few touches of the crackle stamp in versamark too – just wrapped around my fingertip so I just touched a little pattern here and there in between the dragonflies. (more…)
As promised yesterday – a firey red piece today. I’ve used the same supplies again – glossy card, Crafty Individuals stamps, Memento and Archival inks.
I started by applying colour directly with my Memento inks – Love Letter and Morrocco onto my glossy cardstock. I used a tissue to help the colours blend (more…)
You might detect a bit of a theme over the next few days. I sat down this morning to create a few pieces to blog and I got a bit carried away with one technique!
I pulled out four boxes of supplies
1. Crafty Individuals Stamps
2. Archival & Versamark Ink (more…)
