This is one of those project ideas I’ve had swimming around in my head for a few days and just had to find the time to sit and create it!
I started by stamping and embossing with white powder onto vellum with the Woodware Curly Butterfly stamp. (more…)
I have had such a lovely day today. It started with a 1-2-1 workshop with a lovely lady looking to start crafting with inks and stamps and not knowing what products to start with. We spend a fabulous two hours playing with Alcohol Inks, Memento Inks and Distress Inks to teach her some inking and stamping basics and give her a chance to ‘try before you buy’ and decide what inks were best for her – (I’ll share a few snippets of our creations later this week). A lovely bright butterfly today to make you all smile.
This is the lovely Curly Butterfly from Woodware – fast becoming my new favourite stamp!
I started by stamping and embossing my butterfly in white embossing powder. (more…)
Today’s creation has a vintage feel. This is one of the new stamps in stock from Crafty Individuals and the fabulous guys at Crafty Individuals were generous enough to send me this stamp to create some samples with – lucky me! 🙂
I thought this would be great on a tag – but as it is in landscape form, I cut an extra large tag. (more…)
Today’s project is inspired by this Pinterest Pic. This is my take on these cute little birds.

Today’s project is a bit late being published! I have spent the day so engrossed in my behind the scenes work that I forgot I hadn’t written today’s blog! You wouldn’t think that stocktaking, accounts and writing descriptions for the website could be so exciting! 🙂 (more…)
This time last week I was running an all day workshop in the shop. One of the areas covered was Sweet Poppy Stencils. I had an idea for a card design using the Honeysuckle stencil in white onto a deep green background and so I took the opportunity to create my design ready. I used Dreamweaver white paste with a little sprinkle of clear glitter because I wanted a more matt textured effect than the glossy effect of the sweet poppy paste. (more…)
A lovely vintage feel to today’s project.
I’ve cut the Tattered Lace Car and the Special Day greeting out of a deep burgundy shade of card. My Beige card has been embossed with an Embossalicious Antique Keys folder.
I mounted my car and greeting onto my panel and felt it needed a little something else – so I found some pretty border and corner peel-offs to edge the panel. (more…)
